Termites damage Abbey Museum Medieval Manuscript Gallery

What once held the Abbey Museum‘s collection of magnificent medieval manuscripts, has been extensively damaged by a severe termite infestation.

The Medieval Manuscript Gallery, located at the Abbey Museum at Caboolture near Bribie Island, needs to be rebuilt. As do the purpose-built displays which were also destroyed in the process of determining the extent of the termite damage.

The Abbey Museum are appealing to the public to help raise money to rebuild the gallery. Donations can be made here.
